My background in computers & programming goes all the way back to the early 80’s on my TRS-80 color computer, later Commodores and Apples and IBM’s, but my true passion is as a digital and traditional artist, specifically in the area of character concept art.

I’ve always considered myself a hobby/indie/mod developer and love seeing my Ideas come to life, but I DO currently work as a professional in the games industry.

My first break was as character concept artist on Unreal Tournament 2K4, followed by some environmental work on the Shadowbane MMO.. later I worked fulltime for Gearbox Software’s Brothers in Arms: Earned in Blood expansion..

After that I took a year or so off to work in the internet world(not nearly as fun as games). I returned to the game industry in early 2007.

I have been working full time at Microsoft’s Ensemble Studios in Dallas since February ‘07 in a variety of capacities but currently as part of the User Interface dev team for HaloWars. At ensemble Ive had the chance to work on the Age of Empires III series including Age III the Warchiefs and Age III the Asian Dynasties Expansions, as well as HaloWars (to be released in 2008), and an as yet unannounced title.

I love what I do, and short of getting more involved with personal indie projects I don’t plan to leave the games industry again.

On the weekends and some evenings I coach power tumbling and trampoline to cheerleaders and gymnasts…something I’ve been involved with at many levels for over 15 years…
